  • A ZakaBoss (seller) running your online shop

What info we collect

When you sign up, buy, or sell on ShopZaka, we may collect:

  • Name, phone number, email
  • Delivery address, ID number
  • Location and banking information (so we can pay you)
  • Anything you submit during registration or while setting up shop

We only collect what’s necessary to run the platform and protect you

Payment Information

When you shop or sell, your payment info (card or bank details) is securely processed by our trusted payment partners like PayFast and Yoco.
We don’t store your full card details.

Cookies & Logs

We collect automatic info like:

  • Your device + IP address
  • How you move through the site
  • Cookies (small files that help improve your experience)

You can turn off cookies in your browser, but it might mess with the quality of your Zaka operations.

If ShopZaka ever gets sold, merged, or changes hands, your data may be passed to the new owners.

We’ll never sell your data or send it to third-party marketers without you saying yes first.

We use smart, secure systems to keep your data safe.  No online system is bulletproof.
